Jim & Carol Edmondson - 18.03.08 We arrived on the island on February 21st and true to their word our boxes were delivered on time on the 22nd February. As soon as we first had contact with Karen at C & K we new we were putting our belongings into the hands of a very compitent and professional company. The dealings we had with Karen prior to our goods being collected from the UK and since have been terrific and we would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone who is coming to live on Lanzarote.

Anne Rees - 16.07.07 We have now been residents of Lanzarote for 6 weeks. Thanks to CK Haulage our move went without a hitch.

When we were planning the move our first thoughts were to use a container company. We then heard about CK Haulage. The service really appealed for three reasons, firstly our belongings would arrive in eight days after leaving the house in the UK, secondly that the driver would be in charge the whole way including clearing customs and thirdly that the company being based on the island would provide after sales care.

Our concern was that we needed to provide a packing service in the UK. In the event this was easy we just rang a local company who did an excellent and professional job.

Karen was always available to help us complete the documentation prior to removal day. Clearing customs was an almost invisible task for us as Karen handled all the formalities.

The driver arrived at our house punctually on the day and together with the local removal company our house was emptied and in the lorry in no time.

We left for our new home in Lanzarote and at 8am eight days later CK Haulage appeared at our door in Guime with a professional team to unload into our new home.

It was daunting seeing all our belongings in hundreds of cardboard boxes but thanks to Daniel, who came to collect the wrappings for recycling whenever we requested, this task was achieved in our own time.

They say that moving home in one of the most stressful events in your life, let alone moving country but I have to say “a big thank you” to CK Haulage. This was certainly not a stressful event in our lives.

P.S. There was one breakage, a small mirror and we arrived home today to find this mended and safely at our new home courtesy of CK Haulage.

Janet Williamson - 15.06.07 We have recently moved from Lanzarote to North Yorkshire. Several companies advertise such a service. We chose C & K not because they were the cheapest but because in our initial dealings with them they were very professional. Our choice was vindicated in spades. Colin and his team arrived to collect our goods and we were impressed by their skilled handling of our possessions, which included some valuable antique items. Karen clearly knows her Customs and admin documentation and it was all dealt with very speedily and efficiently.

Seven days after the departure of the goods from Lanzarote their cheerful driver Bill delivered the shrink wrapped pallets to us in the UK with everything in the same shape as we had given it to them. Full marks to Colin, Karen and their team for excellent and professional communication and service delivery.

We would recommend them unreservedly to anyone.

Amber Hassan - 15.05.07 Having used C&K Haulage Services in the past I found them to be so efficiant,very reasonable costs and Items arrived mega fast that, when I ordered 2 very LARGE speakers from a company based in the UK,who originally said they could ship to Lanzarote,was messed around for almost 2 months with contradicting quotes for shipping to Canary Islands, then being told in the end that they could not ship to here I decided to get in touch with C&K Haulage services once again. Both Karen and Colin were brilliant, very helpful, and true to their word my Son's speakers were here within a fortnight! Suffice to say C&K have put a smile on my Son's face and I am a very happy customer. I would definately recommend C&K to friends family and acquaintances and would not hesitate to use them again and again..

Nic T Brown - 13.06.06 Colin and Karen gave us excellent service. With both of us working full-time buying the furniture in England over time and shipping it all at once provided a convenient and cost effective solution. We also had more choice and were able to take advantage of the January sales. CK Haulage arrived on time to collect from our home in Devon and delivered on time in Lanzarote with great care. Karen also has a deep understanding of the import regulations and documentation which ensured a smooth transfer through customs. One of our neighbours used another company and their furniture was held in customs 9 days whilst they waited. From our initial enquiry to the end when CK Haulage collected the boxes, we had a truly professional service and good customer care.
